Bow Wow. Formerly Li'l Bow Wow. Born Shad Gregory Moss. He was rapping seriously at the age of five under the name, Kid Gangsta. In 1993, Snoop Dogg christened him “Li'l Bow Wow,” and introduced him to Jermain Dupri who would become the producer who shaped Moss's career. In 2000, he released his first album, aptly titled Beware of Dog.reference 1
